I had the great pleasure of working with Elizabeth for a few months just before the shutdown. I worked in busy, high end restaurants. Back pain and incredibly sore ankles -- making walking nearly impossible after coming home -- were commonplace. My work with her made a massive difference. Many common aches and pains - and some more serious issues like chronic back and neck ache – can be greatly reduced or even eliminated by learning Alexander Technique. This is because our everyday habits of excessive muscular constriction may be causing the pain or making it worse. We don't know how we are hurting ourselves until we observe our negative habits in our AT lessons. Once we know what harm we are doing, we can begin to change.

  • AT has an excellent track record for reducing back pain, supported by widely corroborated anecdotal evidence as well as clinical trials.

giving AT a try can't hurt
